We are currently interested in the following:   (1) Computational Complexity Theory In the computational complexity theory, we classify various computational problems according to the difficulty of solving them and analyze reduction relationships among the problems. We study the complexity of various computational problems from a standpoint of the cryptologic research.   (2) Security of Cryptographic Systems The security of public-key cryptosystems depends on some computational problems that are presumably hard to solve. We are interested in the complexity of such primitive problems.   (3) Defense Technologies to Infordemics AI technologies developed in a data-driven manner are, unfortunately, accompanied by the emergence of new threats called Infordemics. We are considering to investigate defensive technologies against disinformation and to strengthen its efforts to society’s DX Transformation. We are also working on the development and evaluation of secure blockchain applications.
